How can I create a wiki page?
There are two ways:
- Use the “Page” -> “New” menu option. You can enter the page name and the folder.
- While editing a page, you can insert a link to any page of your wiki. E.g. suppose you are editing a page called ‘Issues’, you can insert the text [[Bad format]]. When there is no page called ‘Bad format’, WordonWiki will create a new page, as soon as you click the ‘NEW’ link that will appear next to that page.
The supported link formats are
- [[page]] to point to a new or existing page
- [[folder:page]] to point to a new or existing page in a new or existing folder.
How can I link pages?
Insert the name of the page you want to link to between double square brackets like this: [[other page]]. If you have a page called ‘other page’ in your wiki, a link is introduced that points to that other page. If no such page exists, the link will also be created but with the “NEW” indication next to it. You ‘create’ the page, when you click it.
If the page you want to link to is inside a folder, use the [[ “folder name” : “page name” ]]. E.g. like this [[folder:page]].
Can I modify or remove page links?
Yes, simple put your page in edit mode. At edit time, the page links are shown as [[other page]]. This text can be edited to point to a new page or even removed.
